A new week has started, so it’s time to take a look at 7 games that were released from April 29th to May 5th! It’s ‘This Week In Gaming History’!
April 29th
Grand Theft Auto IV was released on 4/29/08 in the USA, and was the 11th game in the long running series.

April 30th
Wild Arms was released in the USA on 4/30/97 for the original PlayStation. It was one of the first RPG’s released for the console and was also unusual in that it was western themed.

May 1st
Pokémon Emerald Version was released in the USA on 5/1/05 for the Nintendo GameBoy Advance. It is an enhanced version of Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version and is part of the third generation of the Pokémon video game series.

May 2nd
Gauntlet Dark Legacy was released in the USA on 5/2/01 for the PlayStation 2. It was originally released in arcades in 2000, as part of the Gauntlet series.

May 3rd
Puyo Pop Fever was released in the USA on 5/3/05 for the Nintendo DS, and was a puzzle game developed by Sonic Team. Only the Nintendo GameCube and DS versions were released in North America.

May 4th
Ehrgeiz: God Bless The Ring was released in the USA on 5/4/99 for the PlayStation, and was a 3D fighting game that most noteworthy, contained characters from Final Fantasy VII.

May 5th
Einhänder was released in the USA on 5/5/98 for the PlayStation, and was a side scrolling shooter. The name Einhänder is German and denotes a type of sword that is wielded with one hand, here used to refer to the single manipulator arm possessed by the player’s spacecraft.

You have good taste! It’s definitely my favorite RPG franchise. I’m excited for Shining Resonance Refrain this Summer just for the chance to play another game developed by Media Vision.
