The Malty Gamer Goes Tubin’!

Lights! Camera! Action! It’s been requested a hundred times, and asked for repeatedly…… The Malty Gamer is going to have it’s own YouTube channel! Currently in the works, and with a lot of ideas, the channel will feature everything this blog is becoming but in video form! Let’s look at some updates, and see where everything is at with the channel currently.

VSDC

VSDC seems to really be the BEST free video editor suite out there today, and really gives the big boys a run for the money! And while it claims to be very easy to use, I am afraid it looks to have a steep learning curve. Either that, or I just forgot how to edit videos, which is highly unlikely.

So I am going to take all the time I need to read up, learn, experiment, and test out videos with this software. I need to make sure that if I am going to start a channel, that I get things just right. Over time, I will have the software down, no doubt about it.

It will be worth it! This piece of software contains SO many effects, transitions, filters, and other goodies that my videos will hopefully look awesome! This thing even does picture in picture, which will be very useful for another video idea I have for later on down the road.

Copyrighted Audio?

One thing I really had to consider as well, was how to tackle audio in my video’s. I don’t want them pulled after I upload them, and I certainly don’t want my account to get banned. So I have actually found some great sites online for royalty free audio for my videos. For the first series of videos I am going to work on, this will work great. In the future, as I start other projects, I may have to come up with some other idea’s.

VLOG’s

This is another one I get asked a lot too. For now the answer is no. I am not really interested in being seen on YouTube personally. Though narration and my voice is going to be included in upcoming video’s. 😉

I hope everyone will enjoy what I am working on when it goes live! It will take a bit of time, but at least I am finally getting back into doing something I love. It’s been a long time.
